The Australasian Fleet Management Association organises a Professional Development Forum program for Queensland throughout 2019. These forums are an ideal way of staying in touch and with fellow fleet managers, connecting with potential clients, entertaining and reaffirming existing clients or taking the first step in discovering what it is like to be an AfMA Member.
Who Should Attend
Fleet managers, fleet coordinators, fleet administrators and any individual working to manage an organisations vehicles. You should also bring your upper management team, so they’ll be aware of the issues you face and need to plan for in the future.
Topic – Addressing the biggest risk in your fleet – the human element!
Presented by: Duncan Ferguson | CEO & Co-Founder | Fleet Risk
To protect the safety of employees, and directors and officers from uninsurable litigation risk, it’s important that the safety of drivers remains your number one priority.
This engaging session will provide you with insight into human factors and the science behind achieving driver behaviour change. Then taking you through the measures by which driver behaviour can be measured and mitigated; specifically the level of telematics data granularity that’s required to properly understand the risk-habits that lead up to crashes so that timely preventative crash prevention coaching can be delivered.
The session concludes by explaining how moderating driver behaviour positively impacts on your organisation’s bottom line; the safety dividends generated via reduced fuel consumption, and containing insurance and crash-event costs.
