South Australian Professional Development Forum
The Australasian Fleet Management Association organises a Professional Development Forum program for South Australia throughout 2019. These forums are an ideal way of staying in touch and with fellow fleet managers, connecting with potential clients, entertaining and reaffirming existing clients or taking the first step in discovering what it is like to be an AfMA Member.
Who Should Attend
Fleet managers, fleet coordinators, fleet administrators and any individual working to manage an organisations vehicles. You should also bring your upper management team, so they’ll be aware of the issues you face and need to plan for in the future.
Topic 1 – Come and here an update to the Changes to Accounting Standards
Presenter – Jamie Dreckow| Nexia Edwards Marshall
Jamie is ready to talk you through the changes to lease accounting standards and the potential impact your business. He will discuss impacts on both lessor and lessees, the separation of lease/non-lease components, practical implications, financial, operation and business impacts, plus transition accounting and effective dates.
Topic 2 – How to lead and develop within your role
Facilitator – Chris Pascuzzi | Senior Consultant | Swinburne University
In this highly interactive presentation Chris Pascuzzi will be providing attendees with a first-hand look at the leadership and management opportunities that are available to fleet industry professionals. Whether you are looking to upskill, move into a new role or just need general advice on career growth Chris will be on hand to assist.
Chris brings a wealth of experience from his roles in counselling, consulting, educational delivery and organisational development for the last 20 years. He has been a Regional Manager within the Dept. of Human Services Victoria, running child protection and statutory disability services, including developing regional policy, planning and direct client services.
