Tasmanian Professional Development Forum
The Australasian Fleet Management Association organises a Professional Development Forum program for Tasmania throughout 2019. These forums are an ideal way of staying in touch and with fellow fleet managers, connecting with potential clients, entertaining and reaffirming existing clients or taking the first step in discovering what it is like to be an AfMA Member.
Who Should Attend
Fleet managers, fleet coordinators, fleet administrators and any individual working to manage an organisations vehicles. You should also bring your upper management team, so they’ll be aware of the issues you face and need to plan for in the future.
Topic – The integration of EV’s in Fleet, what are the challenges and benefits, are you ready?
With worldwide attention being devoted to the development of Electric Vehicles (EVs) as a solution to mobility and transport issues, many major vehicle manufacturers have already implanted production strategies to phase out the production of internal combustion engine vehicles in the next few years.
With these impending changes, it is anticipated that the uptake of EVs will increase exponentially over upcoming years – presenting a number of challenges and implications for your fleet operations that may require further consideration. While the benefits associated with EVs are attractive to organisational fleets, this presentation focuses on how fleets can better integrate EVs into their fleet environment both now and into the future.
